Late summer ongoings..........

Summer vacation over, back to doggy daycare  and the usual routines but late summer weather has been glorious and we've had some very nice week-ends with friends............

My dear friend Truman. Have seen quite a bit of him since his Mummy has been away on various trips and he's been staying with Jennie.

I've taken Truman to my favourite place, a hide away I consider to be "mine". Here we can relax in style as befitting us whippets!

Let me introduce Baby Pixi!
She is Jennie´s new furbaby, a 9 month old Italian greyhound.
Awful, awful sadness when my girlfriend Poppy crossed the rainbow bridge 6 weeks
ago :(  Her Mummy Jennie was totally devastated......and just like Mummy, Jennie cannot exist without a furbaby and she was lucky that wee Pixi was available, waiting for her forever Mama.

She's such a tiny wee girl.......only 4,5 kg's. And she's full throttle ahead, always the leader, huge amounts of energy and very inquisitive. I hope she'll like me once we get to know each other. But she'll be like a baby sister and not a girlfriend like Poppy was......

Mummy loves shiny stuff so our new floors are ultra shiny. They are super for doing zoomies on because you slide, slide, slide when you´re chasing something :)
Mummy is considering buying me some slippers so can I slide even better :)

Hmmmm...........I'm giving Mummy "the face" and she's still not satisfied!!!!

Thank goodness.......finally I managed to give Mummy the right face/pose she wanted!!!!!!
Even a seasoned model like myself has to occasionally work the floor rather ferociously before the person behind the camera is satisfied..........

Ahhhh........total bliss. Mummy & I have gone away for the week-end, visiting her dear friend Eva at her summerhouse.

Just look at that view.........quite mesmerizing!

Ahhhh........this is so much better. Lying on the warm rocks soaking up the sun while Mummy is taking her swim in the 15 degrees water!!!

I've had my dinner and retreated to the most comfortable chair.......

.......while Mummy & friends are getting stuck into these things! Have no idea what they are but not even tempted to try one!

Slept like a log all night............this bed gets my "paw of approval"!

Back home.......a parcel has arrived!

Ahhhh.........this is the best present I could have wished for!
Carter has sent me two baby lamb chops!!!!

Now my Lamb Chop family is complete!!!!
A Mama, Papa and two babies.
I so love my "family" and Mummy loves that I'm so gentle with them. I only nibble and lick them and have snuggles with them every evening.

Brothers.......so different but also alike. We usually lie far apart when eating our chews but on this rare occasion we lay close side by side. Mummy & Grandpa thought this was so sweet.

What ya think? Don't I look stunning in my new royal blue sweater!!
I already have three in different colours but Mummy was very adamant that royal blue is my colour so here I am trying it on :)
.....and just for the record, royal blue does NOT necessarily mean that Mummy & I are staunch royalists!
